A feasibility study for a series of artificial islands in the Mediterranean Sea that would be a path to peace in the Middle East.

The Menorah Islands Project

The Menorah Islands Project concept is a phenomenal, eye-opening, fresh idea for Middle East peace. But is it possible? We believe it is, and the feasibility studies funded by your generosity would map out exactly what the project needs to do in order to turn this dream into reality.

Currently, the idea is just that—an idea. However, with your confidence in the Menorah Islands Project vision, the project can be scrutinized at every possible angle, from financial to engineering to environmental impact. Those who have hope for the future of peaceful coexistence in the Middle East could help fund experts in a variety of fields who can analyze the idea, give input on its feasibility, and offer modifications to make it happen.

The Menorah Islands Project seeks to prove that economic cooperation is the key to peace in the Middle East. When all groups from all races and creeds come together on common ground with the goal to advance society, hate and bigotry are no longer able to foster. The powerful force of love and hope motivates and inspires the Menorah Islands Project, a vision that the public should join us in supporting.

The Menorah Islands Project is a concept for a group of nine artificial islands—seven permanent and two that emerge from the water —off the coast of Israel in the Mediterranean Sea. The concept calls for the islands to be laid out in the shape of a menorah candelabra. A beautiful place to live, work, and vacation, the Menorah Islands would serve several purposes. It would be a world center for education, a model for environmentally-friendly practices, a showcase for emerging technologies, and would be a safe haven for people of all religions and races.

The importance of cooperation and collaboration is at the heart of the Menorah Islands concept. The project would not only improve quality of life, but would prove that peace is possible when people transcend biases to work together to build a model society. These artificial islands would be built to maximize on this spirit of collaboration—not only would there be multi-denominational chapels and institutes for religious study throughout, but public space would be created on the center of each island for the sole purpose of exchanging ideas.

This current vision for the Menorah Islands centers on research and education in the sciences. On the artificial islands, all fields from marine to medical would have established places to study and share their innovation with the world. The greatest minds would have a dedicated space to work together and truly advance the Middle East and the entire world.

While it would be great for such a place to exist, today it is merely a vision for what the future could look like. Input from all sorts of professionals, from engineers to actuaries, is welcome.

The Menorah Islands Project concept is rooted in a true and deep passion for building a bright and better future for the Middle East. Currently, the idea is just a concept that has been shared with the world in the hopes that others would be inspired by the project and its goals. The money raised in this campaign would only pay for experts to study the plan and determine its feasibility before any plans move forward.
